- 3D model of bacteriophage T4 has been prepared. Bacteriophage T4 is à T-even phage, which infects Escherichia coli cells. T4 is one of the most complex viruses consisting of icosahedral (20 sides) head, or capside, tail, and fibers, attached to the distal end of the tail. The model presented can be used in creation of high quality images as well as in animation. The model can be also made of plastic.
