Ladasten is a prescription medicine for asthenic conditions treatment of various aetiology: psychic stress, overstrain, not getting enough sleep or different infectious or somatic diseases.
Basic mechanism of action of Ladasten is stimnulation of the endogenous dopamine synthesis and release, also as improvement of the GABAergic nervous system function.
Visual Science specialists created 3 illustrations:
1. Stimulation of endogeneous dopamine synthesis and related ligand release Ca-dependant processes. The ability to stimulate this synthesis de novo differs Ladasten from common psychostimulant. Thus, the Ladasten therapy does not lead to endogenous catecholamines pool depletion.
2. Recovery of the GABAergic nervous system function damaged by stress and reduction of the GAT-3 gene expression, coding GABA-transporting protein.
GAT-3 is an isoform of the GABA transporter, involved in GABA reuptake in synapse. As its expression is supressed, the GABA concentration increases, and this cuses elevated GABAergic function, including ligand binding to GABA receptor.
3. Antioxidant action. Ladasten reduces level of cellular peroxydation of the lipids and thus favour integrity of the cellular and mitochondrial membranes and its barrier fuction (acording to ZAO Masterpharm).
