Brain is the central organ of the nervous system. It controls different physiological and psychological functions, and regulates the relationships between the organism and the environment.

Brain can be anatomically divided into cerebrum, brain stem, and cerebellum. Brain stem structures of the model are shown in grey, cerebellum is shown in yellow, and cerebral cortex is divided into lobes, which are colored individually in different colors.

Frontal lobes (lobus frontalis, orange) are separated from parietal lobes (lobus parietalis, green) by central fissure. Frontal and parietal lobes of each hemisphere border temporal lobes (lobus temporalis, red), and are divided from them by groove of Sylvius. Occipital lobes (lobus occipitalis, blue) are partially divided from parietal lobes by parietooccipital sulcus.

The 3D model has been prepared for the series of illustrations and for an interactive presentation on human brain structures and functions.
This model can be also made colored of solid plastic with many details.
